Every person is a unique seed in the world’s garden.
Each seed grows a leader from which greatness can blossom.
Imagine the future of our planet if we nurture each child to sprout greatness.

Community Leadership Garden

Working togetherThe place to practice and sprout leadership

The Leadership Garden Legacy resources and training services work very well with not-for-profit and grassroots community organizations seeking to be more cohesive and effective.

When organizations understand how to make each volunteer, each board member, each donor, each staffer and each program participant feel valued, respected, and listened to, it's possible to make amazing strides toward the group's ultimate goals. Rather than getting mired in dissent and conflict, the group can advance its agenda. Our training services and resources can facilitate that. To name a few examples:

  • U.N.I.Q.U.E.: Growing the Leader Within, a book that uses the classic fable format to impart a message of cooperation, skill-building, and genuine leadership
  • Workshops and Presentations for your organization, ranging from conference breakouts and keynotes, to coaching customized for your needs, and in-depth Empowerment Workshops with optional Professional Development Credit through Western Oregon University.
  • Facilitator Certification Training, where professionals in your organization are trained to bring this empowering message to your members and stakeholders
  • The Leadership Garden Registry, which lets you access the resources of an entire online community, to think and share and brainstorm collaboratively, even across state lines
  • A Grant Program to help qualifying organizations implement the Leadership Garden Legacy
