Winter Season Demonstration Project Grants

We are proud to announce the LGL International Demonstration Project Partnership - 4GGL in Nepal.
Founder, Jin In states in her Healing Project application, "The unique purpose and aim of 4GGL in Nepal is to ignite the leadership potential of impoverished girls in Nepal by building the capacity of our local partner, Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN). Together, we will co-create girls' leadership, leaving a women's leadership legacy in Nepal and our world."
4GGL envisions a world where every girl's inherent worth and leadership potential is recognized . . . For the girls they aim to serve this vision is only a dream. In these areas girls are thought of as "unworthy" even before birth as female feticide is still practiced today. The lives of those born, are marred with neglect, exploitations, and abuse.
Therefore, 4GGL has partnered with EWN to impact the lives of 5000 girls, particularly in remote areas of the Himalayas where girls have no inherent worth - abandoned, sold, orphaned and/or sex trafficked.
We are providing some travel funds and LGL materials for Ms. In to share with her local partner during the formative phase of 4GGL in Nepal . It is important that they co-create their effort to provide a sustainable effort.
The needs for funds for this project are greater than we here at LGL can support alone. Therefore, we have aligned our efforts to encourage others "act local and think global," but also to "think local and act global."
As a grandmother and mother of girls myself, and my own personal purpose to empower extraordinary unstopplable leadership in everyone, I invite you to join me and help Jin achieve her goal with the women of Nepal.
She is continuing her effort to educate and engage, 1000 Leaders here in the US about the needs of these girls by donating $10 or more to empower her journey to Nepal this winter.
To become one of the 1000 LEADERS empowering girls in Nepal, or learn more, visit: www.4GGL.org and donate $10 today.
In addition to this international effort, we will be selecting 11 sites to become LGL Demonstration Project grantees across the country to test our Leadership Garden Legacy Framework.
