Local author and entrepreneur, Debra J. Slover is providing a free workshop for local writers. She will share her resources and experiences while writing, publishing, and marketing her book U.N.I.Q.U.E.: Growing the Leader Within. In a candid discussion and question and answer period she will share her progress, successes, and failures. Debra is an experienced leadership trainer and motivational speaker who will help you to understand your choices to help you avoid some of the pitfalls and potholes out there.

Information will be provided and questions answered like:

  • How do I get published?
  • What publishing options do I have?
  • What do I need to know?
  • What are some of the pitfalls?
  • What resources are available?

I decided to offer this free workshop to empower writers with accurate knowledge so they can choose which might work best for them,” according to Slover. The workshop will be held in the Community Meeting Room at Ray's Food Place in the North Albany Shopping Center on Thursday, November 29th from 7:00p to 9:00p and is free of charge.
